Amy customizes each massage to address this the specific needs of each client to achieve the goals of each individual client. Combining Swedish, shiatsu, deep tissue, myofascial massage, trigger point work, and assisted stretching, Amy works to facilitate the release and relaxing of your soft tissues, muscle, tendons and ligaments to let go of unhealthy and often lifelong holding patterns.

Relaxation
Sometimes you just want to relax by quieting your body and mind, in which case the relaxation massage is for you. Using therapeutic and calming touch, this massage offers peace and calm to help facilitate the opportunity to escape and de-stress. This massage can range from light to strong pressure, depending on your preference / comfort level. Both compression of the muscles and long gliding stokes are applied with oil or lotion, and passive range of motion to major joints
Targeted
If you are experiencing one or more conditions or chronic issues that is causing pain or discomfort, inhibiting your posture or range of motion, this massage may be for you. This treatment can, at times, feel uncomfortable, but can help to relieve pain and restore normal posture and range of motion. The massage will start with work to address the client’s chief compliant, generally applying sustained compression to troubled muscles with guided breath-work to encourage them to release. Compression of ligaments or scar tissue, resisted stretches and joint mobilization techniques may also be applied.
Pre/Post Natal
This massage focuses on offering relief from common pains and discomforts associated with pregnancy or more specific issues resulting from pregnancy and giving birth. This massage is typically done in a side-lying position, but can be done belly down as long as is tolerable for the mother.
